Special Anti-Corrosion Coating for Long-Lasting Protection

Metaflux 70-35 Rost-I-Sol is a special anti-corrosion coating designed to protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, even in demanding environments. It provides excellent resistance to acids, caustic substances, and non-aggressive oils, while allowing painting or varnishing after drying.

• Paintable and varnishable: compatible with most paints and varnishes after 24 hours at 20°C [+68°F].

• Fast drying: touch-dry in 30–60 minutes at 20°C [+68°F] with 55% relative humidity.

• Dilutable: 58% solid content can be diluted up to 10% with distilled water.

• Color: dark gray

• Density: 1.36 g/mL [0.048 oz./fl oz.]

• pH: 8.5

• Storage temperature: 5°C to 40°C [42° to 104°F]

• Application temperature: 4°C to 40°C [39° to 104°F]; optimal: 15°C–28°C [59–82.4°F]

• Temperature resistance: up to 140°C [248°F] once dry

• Coverage: for a 90 μm layer, 1 kg = 4–5 m² [2.20 lbs = 43–54 ft²]

Usage and Performance

• A 90-micron coating provides over 500 hours of salt spray resistance (tested according to DIN 50.021 / 53.167).

• Suitable for heavily rusted surfaces, ready to use.

• Coverage for optimal protection:

  • High protection: 1 kg for 4–6 m²

  • Light protection: 1 kg for 10–12 m²

• Application method: brush or spray gun, rinseable with water.
